Thriving Ivory at The Chance

Thriving Ivory, an alternative/rock band played a show this past Saturday at The Chance in Poughkeepsie. Secondhand Serenade was the headliner, and while I'm not a fan of theirs at all I went anyways. I Hate Kate and Cory Lamb also performed. The concert was really good and I liked how the bands interacted with their fans; you got a good sense of who the bands actually are. While all the bands were good, Thriving Ivory was super good. They were pretty funny, too. They sounded great live, almost like how they do on their album. I would definitely see them again, maybe on their own tour.
