Literature Via Ass

Thirst for knowledge and love for words need not be denied those living in a conflict environment, separated by miles from a catering library, thanks to the kindness of Luis Soriano and his two donkey's, Alfa and Beto. This feature from the Times investigates Soriano and his traveling "Biblioburro" as he delivers books to people throughout Columbia who would not have access to them otherwise. He risks robberies from bandits and a dwindling bank account for his family to do this good deed of spreading his wealth of literature to others who will hopefully appreciate it as much as he does. I particularly like the lede of this article because it really hooks the reader into continuing. The good writing throughout the piece enhances the compelling story being told. Enjoy!

P.S. Forgive my abrasive title.
