Verizon rasing text message costs
I found this article in the New York Times. Verizon wireless starting November 1st will add a further charge on text messages sent to their subscribers. This can be a problem for people who don’t have a text message bundle. The current charge to receive a text is 10 to 20 cents and additional three cents can really add up. Text messaging is a popular communication method among the younger generation and spreading to even out parents. Text messages have become a way for companies to send information to customers. Now you can get sports scores, information on flights, phone banking and even mobile updates from facebook or myspace. Receiving these helpful messages will become extremely expensive.
