Sir Paul McCartney's Head = £2,000

"Paul McCartney's (wax) head" (courtesy of BBC.co.uk)

In possibly the strangest articles I've encountered, NME.com has reported that a homeless man, Anthony Silva, has claimed a £2,000 reward for the return of the wax head of former Beatle Paul McCartney. The head was a piece of artwork of the musician created by Joby Carter, who planned to auction it off. However, it was left behind on a train en route to the auction. Silva had originally thought it was a mask, but upon hearing about the lost head, he returned it to the authorities.

A very quirky story. I would prefer to find a wax recreation of Ringo Starr's head, though. Sunglasses included would just do it for me!
