Base on a true story, "The Express" is about a football player named Ernie Davis who goes on into becoming the first African-American player to win the Heisman Trophy in 1961. Davis, raised in poverty in the country of Pennsylvania had to overcome many obstacles to make it into Syracuse University's football program. He later on became one of the greatest running backs in college football history and changed the face of American sports forever.
Coming to theaters on October 10th, "The Express" is causing big "buzz". I highly recommend for everyone to go and watch it because Ernie Davis is one of the sports players which helped shape sports into what it is today.
