Republicans Lose Majority in Dutchess County

In Dutchess County there are 379 more registered Democrats than Republicans. This is the first time in decades that Democrats have out registered Republicans in the county. Dutchess County Democratic Committee Chairwoman Jane Barber Smith says the county majority is usually Republican; Dutchess County residents didn't even vote for native Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
