Colin Powell and Obama

Recently on Fuax News, oops I mean Fox News...honest mistake...honest, anyway, there was footage being shown of McCain supporters decrying the fact that Barack Obama is oh-my-God African American. The footage was deplorable, but eye opening. I hadn't realize how many ignorant people were still hung up on skin color. You would think that Americans, all Americans, would see by now that being white was does not make you eminently qualified for the highest office in the land. (Just ask G.W.). So, I searched the recordonline.com and found blogs about Colin Powell backing Barack Obama. I was shocked to find that so many participants believed that Powell only backed Obama because he was also African American. I hadn't realized and I am extremely disappointed to find that certain people in the valley are still so narrow minded. Now, why is it that when a WHITE MAN endorses another WHITE MAN it isn't considered a race issue? Also, if Powell is only backing Obama because they are both African American, then what is Joe Biden's excuse?
