On the topic of organic farming...
Biodynamic farming sometimes referred to as "energy farming" is an all natural way to help give crops a healthy boost while they grow naturally. I had first hand experience with this while studying environmental science abroad. One of the practices includes saving and using compost (any biodegradable waste such as banana peels, apple cores, bread scraps) which acts as a fertilizer for the soil. Others include the integration of live stock. The truth is, it really just feels good to know your participating in this totally recyclable process. And the payback is well worth. Our tomatoes were so good the cows broke through the fence and ate them all!
