Farve Makes Jets Regular Season Debut
After a highly publicized off-season of turmoil Brett Favre stepped behind center for the first time as a Jet in a regular season game. Favre, who played as a Green Bay Packer for 16 straight seasons, threw for 194 yards and 2 touchdowns on Sunday September 7th in a 20-14 win over the Miami Dolphins. After going 4-12 last season the Jets are hoping for Favre to elevate them to a playoff caliber team. On Sunday September 14th, the Jets will play their home opener against the A.F.C. champion New England Patriots, who will be without their star quarterback Tom Brady due to a season-ending knee injury. It will be Brett Favre's first time playing in The Meadowlands as a Jet.
