The last performance of Rent was on September 7th. In 2005, the movie was released and soon the songs of Rent seemed to be everywhere. I remember knowing almost the whole soundtrack before I even saw the movie because my roommate freshmen year was obsessed with it. She NEVER STOPPED singing the title track. For those of you who didn't catch it, IMDB describes the story as a rock opera detailing the lives of a group of friends from NYC dealing with love, loss, and AIDS.
