Skydiving Around New Paltz

As brought to attention in class, there is a fantastic place to go skydiving locally.  The Blue Sky Ranch is located in Gardiner, just outside of New Paltz.  For an affordable rate, any person over the age of 18 can jump out of an airplane with confidence.  Including rented gear, the first tandem jump (jumping with an instructor on your back) will set you back only $195.  If you come with a group of five or more on a weekday, it will only be $175 per person.

If you choose to skydive The Ranch, your first trip out of the plane will be with an instructor on your back.  You will jump out of the plane from 13,500 ft and freefall for 6,000 ft.  The Ranch also offers, for a $95 fee, still photography or video of the jump.
