"People's Families Are Off Limits"

In my opinion, Sen. Obama delivered a class act response to the controversial headlining news regarding Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. The news surrounding Palin's pregnant 17 year old daughter has been taking the country by storm. The Republican VP contender with a high-school senior daughter expecting a baby? Makes for an extremely "juicy" story. However, Obama steered clear of taking any unnecessary jabs at the opposing party as he responded to the situation with: "How a family deals with issues and teenage children, that shouldn't be the topic of our politics, and I hope that anybody who is supporting me understands that's off-limits." To me, it shows Obama is a true leader and can debate McCain's camp without throwing insults and lies. He also reminded us that his mom was 18 years old when she had him, again, not giving the media anything to attack Palin with. He continues to be a classy guy.

I agree with Obama and that is why I love him! However, those who share in Palin's political views should evaluate her personal life to a degree because it practically disproves her abstinance theory. Sex education is important.
