MTV Launches Music Video Website, Tyler Goes on Depeche Mode Binge.

After years of nailing viewers with shows that documented obnoxious sweet sixteen parties, reality show burnouts in thrilling games, and just overall staged reality, MTV finally returned to their roots, albeit with a modern twist. Launched last week, MTVmusic.com is a one-stop website that contains nearly the entire music video library the cable channel possesses. By entering the name of the artist or the song, the music video pops up in stunning high-definition audio and video quality.

In my opinion, this is a totally awesome move for the network. In these times of YouTube, when people want music videos on the spot, it's good to know that MTVmusic.com hosts classics like Michael Jackson's "Thriller" or Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" in a superb, almost pixel-free quality that one can rarely find on a routine YouTube search. I approve!
