Urine Recycler for Astronauts

Astronauts have been working on a recycling system to turn urine into drinking water. The recycling unit was able to turn 3.8 liters of urine into water before shutting down. I didn't even know this was possible but one word comes to mind...ewww. Who would drink water that was once urine? I think this is so gross, but kind of cool that it actually works.
