Mixed Reviews for Twilight

The reviews are in! One of the year's most highly anticipated films, "Twilight" , opens tonight with a midnight premiere, and tickets are sold out in about 500 venues. But, will obsessive "fanpire's" leave the theatre tonight less than thrilled? Robert Ebert doesn't think so, he only gives the film 2 1/2 stars, but says "I understand who "Twilight" appeals to, and it sure will..."Twilight" will mesmerize its target audience, 16-year-old girls and their grandmothers." However, Variety reviewed the film, stating that the acting between Stewart and Pattinson seems "forced" and "unconvincing", which if true, will not sit well with fans. Starpulse calls the film's visuals "ridiculous". I'm sure we will be hearing a lot of buzz in the early morning hours regarding fan's reactions to the film, and that's what really matters, isn't it?
