But what about those who aren't lucky enough to be asked or perhaps require a dancing partner who shares similar moves to them?
This article from New York Magazine is a profile of Rosa. Rosa is a Bailarina; a dancer at a specialized bailarina bar who will dance with men (mostly immigrants) for a small fee per song and more for a whole night. It's a great example of using one person as a profile subject whilst talking about a broader issue. The descriptions and scenes are also very vivid. It definitely had me saying "Only in America too..."
