Gay Marriage Ban Hurts More Than People

The recent passing of proposition 8 in California, the ban of gay marriage, has already begun to take a toll on the state. Aside from hurt feelings and a loss of hope for same-sex couples, businesses who cater to weddings have begun to feel the strain. Businesses such as bakeries and florists that have experienced a boom since gay marriage became legal are now ailing.
