Keeping Watch on DEMOCRACY

"Video the Vote is a national network of citizen journalists, independent filmmakers, and media professionals working together to document voter suppression and disenfranchisement."

Since the past two elections have had so many complications and fraudulent problems, people have stepped up to the plate to create awareness about this situation and to teach others and themselves what to do if it happens again.

One very cool website is called Video the Vote and it has videos about people who documented the problems that voters had on election day. Some of these videos show trivial problems that had to do with long lines, to wrong ballots, to being told that people could not vote. They encourage people to put up videos of anyone who had problems and to call the hotline: 1-866-OUR-VOTE.
