Dedication 3 Falls short of hype

Lil' Wayne has become one of the biggest hip-hop stars of our generation. One of the ways he rose to prominence was through his mixtapes, Dedication 1 & 2. last week ADedication 3 dropped, with a lot of hype. Unfortunately, it did not live up to they hype. Dedication is heavy on guest spots from Wayne's Young Money Ent. minions like Nicki Minaj, Tyga and Jae Millz. Definitely the worst mixtape of the series, since Dedication 1 & 2 are certified classics and must-haves for hip-hop fans everywhere. Wayne's brief appearances on songs are just O.K., or they're choruses and autotune-filled singalongs. The bright spots on the mixtape, for me are the hilarious skits, the song "Thingy Pleaser", and the last four tracks. Other than that, Wayne dissapoints. Slow down, Wayne, you're wearing yourself out.
