Presidential Candidates Discuss Economy

With elections coming up in about two months, Obama and McCain have chosen to talk about the country's need of economic help. Obama said that he would provide tax relief to the middle class. He also said that he will have to wait until next year to make any decisions about increasing taxes to the wealthy. McCain said that he supported the government's plans to help Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. To distance himself from previous Republican administrations, McCain said that he will appoint Democrats to his Cabinet. Not promising any specific amount, he did say more than one.
