The Grammy Nominations are in and my man Jamey Johnson is up for Best Country Song, Best Country Album, and Best Male Vocal Performance. I'm so excited to see this. He's an amazing musician who is finally getting the recognition he deserves. No longer is he in the background, but he's writing his music and putting out amazing vocal performances. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are also up for a few awards including Record and Album of the Year. One can only hope that Country can make a major impact on this years show (without only Taylor Swift). The winners will be revealed on The 51st Annual Grammy Awards telecast, Feb. 9, on CBS-TV.
