When I first saw it I had no idea what sort of things a person could do that was strange and make money. The first person featured was a woman from Phoenix, Arizona who wasn't doing too well economically and needed money to buy her kids Christmas presents. Some friends advised her to sell her hair on a website, it worked out well for her, she got $1,200 for selling 27 inches of her hair.
