In the month of October, I had posted a blog about the 12 charges of armed robbery that OJ Simpson was facing and the risk of him actually going to jail. Well, last week he was sentenced to a maximum of 33 years in jail with the possibility of parole after nine.
Prosecutors alleged that Simpson led a group of men who used threats, guns and force to take sports memorabilia from dealers Bruce Fromong and Al Beardsley. Simpson claimed that he was attempting to recover items that belonged to him.
Even though, it is somewhat unfortunate for him to go jail for such a long time, I honestly believe he deserves to go to jail whether it was for the armed robbery charges or the murder charges from 1995.
