New Stuff from Third Eye Blind

After five years Third Eye Blind has released four new songs digitally entitled "Red Star." These few songs were released Nov. 18 and will be followed by a full-length album, "Ursa Major," in the spring. I've heard some of the songs from "Red Star" and they're pretty good, still sounding like Third Eye Blind. My favorite is "Non-Dairy Creamer," which is getting a bit of controversy. Third Eye Blind drummer, Brad Hargreaves, says in this article that the song is about being real or fake. All four songs on "Red Star" have political tones and Hargreaves says, "There is no denying the fact that Third Eye Blind takes a small degree of satisfaction in saying things that may be polarizing."
